and my art is not just

Every piece I make is a reflection of an ongoing battle within myself,
a struggle to understand, to challenge,
and to transcend the limits of my own perception.
In the reality where I manifest, nothing comes without resistance.
This world shapes me as much as I shape it, and through that tension, my work takes form.
It's not about finding peace, but about embracing the chaos,
the questions, and the discomfort that fuel my creativity.
This journey is raw,
imperfect, and deeply human.

  • TULI, whose given name is Giuliano Donato Tedeschi, is an artist from Rome, at a time when the city was still a vital hub for Christian pilgrims from around the world. A grandson of post-war Italian politics, he carries an inheritance of history and cultural tensions that are reflected in the complexity of his artistic journey.

    His art comes to life primarily through music, weaving sounds, vibrations, and rhythms with visual, tactile, and sensory elements to create a fully immersive experience. Each composition arises from a deep confrontation with himself and the reality around him, exploring inner chaos, transformation, and the human essence through a language that transcends words.

    A decisive turning point comes with the reading of The Dance of Reality by Alejandro Jodorowsky, a gift from Fabrizio, a dear friend and father of his nephews. The book, which emphasizes the profound importance of one’s own name as a key to identity and destiny, pushes him to make a radical and courageous decision: to embrace TULI as the authentic expression of himself.
    Thus, in the middle of the journey of his life, as with Dante Alighieri, he almost inevitably moves to Germany, settling in Berlin, where his artistic exploration finds new spaces for expression and experimentation. Through sound, matter, and image, TULI builds a unique language where art becomes a living testimony of an inner struggle—an act of existence in constant evolution.
